What is an e-reception?
An e-reception is an automated call management system that performs call handling operations normally handled by a human receptionist.
What’s the advantage of an e-reception?
Apart from the obvious cost advantage, an e-reception has no geographical boundaries and can be fully automated with different scenarios depending of time of day etc. The extensions an e-reception can forward calls to can be landlines or mobile phones anywhere is the world and can change depending on time of day etc. An e-reception works 24/7 and follows your instructions to the letter
Caller calls the business number and is greeted by a friendly recorded voice (IVR) telling the caller to select the appropriate extension by pressing a number on their phone. The caller hears some nice music or even some advertising if preferred until the extension picks up. Remember this extension can be a landline or mobile anywhere in the world. For example, press one for sales could go to a line in the main office, press 2 for information could go to a remote home workers tel line, press 3 for accounts could go to the business owners partners mobile who does the accounts. All the extensions can have a follow me list attached, this means if one person is engaged or does not pick up in a timely fashion the call is moved on to the next number in the list and so on. Schedules can be applied so at the close of business the line diverts to a voicemail service or even another landline mobile phone. Any voicemails received are instantly emailed to the appropriate person. Faxes can be received without a fax machine, again these are emailed to the appropriate person. Most importantly the caller is given the impression of a large well organised business. Even a sole trader with a mobile phone can create this image by simply having all the extensions go to his mobile, safe in the knowledge that his e-receptionist will be taking his calls for him 24/7 and sending him any messages left on the voicemail server.
What doe s it cost?
There are three tariffs. Basic, Premium and Pro. The Basic tariff is just 15 euros +iva per month and you pay for the diverted calls to the various extensions if they are outside of the Compusurf network at our standard rates, maximum number of extensions is limited to three. The Premium tariff costs 25 euros +iva per month and includes 1000 minutes of free calls to landlines in Zone A with unlimited extensions. The pro tariff costs 30 euros +iva and is the same as the premium but has a local fax number for receiving faxes without a Fax machine. The Faxes are simply emailed to you. The system is a prepay service so there are no bills to worry about. Top ups are made online as and when required. You also have a website to go to for checking call history costs etc.
What about my Telephone Number?
If your main business number is a Landline and you are on the Compusurf Network then nothing changes. If you are not on the Compusurf Network we provide you with a new local number and you either simply divert your main number to this new number or just advertise the new number. Please note your provider may charge you for the diverted calls at the local rate.
